Peter Arms - Director

Peter has been involved in the telecommunications industry for over 40 years, starting with PMG/Telecom/Telstra in the Line Transmission Equipment Design section. In 1987, Peter became the manager of the Telecom Regulatory Test Centre, which was later to become Comtest.

When Comtest separated from Telstra, Peter became the Technical Director of Comtest Laboratories Pty Ltd.

Peter continues his involvement at industry level by being a member of the Communications Alliance (ACIF) Customer Equipment and Cable Reference Panel, the Electrical Compliance and Testing Association of Australia (ECTA) and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Technical working Group (TWG).

Greg Caspar - Director

Greg has been involved with the telecommunications industry since 1970, commencing with PMG/Telecom Research Laboratories and then moving to quality assurance and laboratory services within Telecom Australia. Greg managed a group of Telecom Australia's calibration and measurement laboratories, covering seven different disciplines.

Greg moved to Telstra's Comtest in 1991 as the Business Manager. When Comtest became a private company, Greg joined the new organisation as the Business Director and continues in developing the growth of Comtest into new fields of testing and laboratory capabilities.

Greg is now a recognised accountant with a CPA designation and directly supports the financial activities and administration of Comtest.

Robert Norris - General Manager - Technical

Robert has been involved in the telecommunications and electrical test industry for over 25 years, starting with Telecom/Telstra in the Network Test Centre in 1990, then specialising in ISDN and digital protocols. When Comtest separated from Telstra in 1998, Robert became a technology manager with Comtest Laboratories Pty Ltd.

Robert has vast knowledge and experience across telecommunications and electrical; certification, compliance, compliance folder management and laboratory operations.

Robert was promoted to the position of Laboratory Manager in 2008 and is responsible for the day to day operations of the laboratory. Robert ensures that testing is performed in a timely manner and the laboratory is compliant with the all the requirements of ISO/IEC17025.

Peter Dwyer - General Manager

Peter is an experienced operations and business management executive who has been involved with the energy, products and certification industries for over 30 years.

Peter has owned and operated his own consulting business since 2008. Having assisted Comtest as a consultant since the beginning of 2014 in areas such as; business processes, OH&S and change management, Peter has now joined Comtest as the Operations Manager and now General Manager.

Peter’s role is to assist with day to day management, development of strategy and business development functions of the business. As with all the Comtest team, another of Peter’s roles is to assist customers with their testing, calibration or compliance management requirements.
